The Time for Congress to Act is Now

To the North Carolina Congressional Delegation:

Far too many North Carolinians are injured or die from gun violence each year.

  • In 2014 in NC, there were 1204 firearms-related deaths and 47 children died as the result from a firearm.
  • North Carolina’s gun murder rate is 10% higher than the national average.
  • Over 30,000 Americans die from gun violence every year.

The time for inaction has passed.

Therefore, I stand in solidarity with those standing up to the gun lobby, and call on those in Congress to take action on gun violence prevention.

We’re not a barbaric country and we shouldn’t allow the slaughter of our own citizens.

I am sick to death of gun violence, But more importantly I am incensed by Radical Republican’s boyish fascinations with guns! Constitutional gun ownership has been misrepresented by the Radical NRA to their own benefit. The Constitutional Gun ownership was purely as a civilian military to assist with wars only……………….and was tightly regulated by the government.

Man up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do the right thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,end America’s war on terror, not from terrorists but from our own Republicans who are too ignorant to hear and see what American really needs and wants.

I am afraid to live in my own country. Shouldn’t my and my children’s needs for safety come before some idiots need to own a gun?

Unsafe in American due to NRA and Republicans

Thanks to those who participated in the sit-in. Let’s try to find a way to let the will of the majority of Americans (including NRA members) prevail against the NRA money machine. It’s time for sensible gun regulations.
