House Bill 111 : Would allow conceal carry permit holders to carry loaded weapons into restaurants, bars, and local parks. STATUS: Passed House, now awaiting hearing in Senate Judiciary Committee

House Bill 390: Would remove the requirement for a County permit for handguns. STATUS: Awaiting Hearing in House Judiciary Committee

House Bill 63: Would force employers to allow their employees to keep guns locked in their cars in work parking lots. STATUS: Awaiting Hearing in House Judiciary Committee

House Bill 241: Would allow guns made and kept in North Carolina to be exempt from federal law, eliminating federal background checks. STATUS: Awaiting Hearing in House Judiciary Committee

House Bill 650: Would make various changes to existing gun laws--including reducing the penalty for carrying a firearm on a college campus, and allowing all concealed carry permit holders from other states to carry loaded, concealed guns in North Carolina.. STATUS: Ratified

House Bill 74: Allows the use of deadly force at home, in a car, in parking lots, and in some public locations, without any duty to retreat. STATUS: Awaiting Hearing in House Judiciary Committee

Senate Bill 765 : Prohibits healthcare providers from asking about guns in the home, preventing them from providing life-saving information on safe gun storage. STATUS: Sent to Senate Rules Committee
